12 Therefore, though you already know these things and are strengthened in the Word you already have, I will remind you from time to time. 13 While I am still on earth ("in this tent"), I think it is appropriate to remind you and keep you alert, 14 for I know that the time is coming when I am dying ("leaving this tent"), as our Lord Jesus Christ clearly instructs me. 15 I will also strive to keep these things in memory after I die. 16 We have told you about the power and coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, not by our followers who have cleverly fabricated legends, but we are those who have seen His majesty with our own eyes. 17 For when he received the honorable glory from God the Father, in the midst of great glory, a voice said to him, "This is my beloved Son, and I am pleased with. 18 This voice from heaven was heard by ourselves when we were with him on the sacred mountain. 19 It is more true that we still have the words of the prophets. Pay special attention to it, as if paying attention to the light shining in the darkness, until dawn will break and the morning star will appear in your hearts. 20 Above all, you should know that all the prophecies of the Bible are not the opinions of the prophets themselves.21 for prophecies are not made by human will, but by the Holy Spirit, who have been moved to speak from God.
